Maxime Van Egroo
I am an early-career postdoctoral fellow who aims to investigate the earliest manifestations of AD-related processes among clinically normal individuals, with an emphasis on the role of sleep-wake regulation as an ideal modifiable factor to delay or slow down initial disease progression. More precisely, I am taking advantage of cutting-edge methods such as ultra-high field neuroimaging, to identify new early markers of increased risk for AD based on the intersection of the earliest AD-related pathology depositions and the neurobiological systems underlying sleep-wake regulation.
