- December 12-15, 2019: Heidi, Whitney and Dimo (Ivanov, FPN) attended the second Locus Coeruleus Imaging Meeting in Magdeburg. Dimo presented his work on unravelling the sources of contrast in locus coeruleus imaging. Heidi presented her work on relating locus coeruleus - norepinephrine measures to Alzheimer's disease pathology.
- November 12, 2019 :Lots of cool papers are now out: 1) A collaboration with Fred d;Oleire Uquillas and Patrizia Vannini on the functional and pathological correlates of judgment of learning in Cerebral Cortex; 2) Whitney's work on the relationship between white matter hyperintensities, blood-brain barrier leakage (using DCE-MRI) and cognition in Neurobiology of Aging and 2) Joost's work on linking APOE to Alzheimer's disease pathology via blood-brain barrier dysfunction and inflammation in Neurobiology of Aging. - August 9, 2019: Nikos' work on imaging the nucleus of the solitary tract using magnetisation transfer imaging at 7T MRI is now out in Neuroimage.
- July 13-18, 2019: Heidi will be attending the Alzheimer 's Association International Conference (AAIC) in Los Angeles and will present her work on locus coeruleus metabolism in the Harvard Aging Brain Study and locus coeruleus intensity in the Colombian kindred with autosomal-dominant Alzheimer's disease. - June 5th, 2019: A collaborative effort with Dr. Gérard Bischof (University Hospital Cologne) discussing the biological and clinical meaning of subthreshold beta-amyloid is now online at Neurology!
- May 29, 2019: Our latest work: "Alzheimer's disease pathology: pathways between central norepinephrine activity, memory, and neuropsychiatric symptoms" is now online at Molecular Psychiatry. It discusses the associations between norepinephrine turnover, inflammation, amyloid-beta, tau and clinical symptoms.
- May 15, 2019:Heidi will be talking about the origin and spread of tau pathology at the Charles River Association for Memory 2019 meeting on tau pathology and memory in aging and neurodegenerative diseases at the Boston University Center for Memory and Brain.

For more information email Heidi. - January 22, 2019 & February 4, 2019: New work from Whitney Freeze on Blood-brain barrier leakage and microvascular lesions in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy is published in Stroke! This was a great collaboration with Susan van Veluw and Steven Greenberg (MGH, Boston, USA).
Furthermore, Rachel Buckley's work on sex-differences in tau pathology in the Harvard Aging Brain Study and ADNI is now published in JAMA Neurology! - January 16-18,2019: At the Human Amyloid Imaging conference 2019 (Miami), Heidi will present her work on sex-difference in tau pathology, independent of amyloidosis in asymptomatic individuals with elevated amyloid from the A4 trial (presentation on January 17, 2019)
